Gerontological Advising

We are very excited to introduce Gerontological Advising Services. Mrs. Garland-Wallace , is Certified in the field of Gerontology, and has spent many hours providing caregiving and companion services to elders. 

She specializes in the area of Dementia care. She obtained her Certification in 2015 at Florida Atlantic University in South Florida. Upon graduating, Mrs. Garland-Wallace worked in a Retirement Community supervising the Memory Care Unit. She also provided in home companionship to two elder clients with Dementia through an agency. Mrs. Garland-Wallace, and her family also lost their own loved one to Dementia in 2020. 

Mrs. Garland-Wallace wants to now share her knowledge and experience with other families who may need her support. She will be offering advising services that will include the following: 

1- Initial 30-minute phone and/or video consultation(s)

2 - 30 minute follow up phone and/or video consultation(s)

Any additional follow ups will be determined on a case by case basis for an affordable fee. References available upon request. 

Please note: There are no physical visits to clients in a caregiving capacity at this time.
